John Gustafsson

John Gustafsson has been working at Master Planners & Associates since February of 2023, and is fully licensed as a Financial Advisor. John has been in the industry since the beginning of 2021, and the values Master Planners & Associates represent align with John’s passion to serve his clients. With his knowledge, dedication, and commitment to his clients he knows the importance of delivering a tailored financial plan that meets the needs of every client.
John graduated in 2016 from Merrimack College with a dual degree in Marketing and Sports Management. He holds his Series 7, Series 63, Series 65 and Life/Health/Disability licenses. John is a key member of Master Planners & Associates Investment Committee led by David Armstrong, and is a 2024 Certified Financial Planner™ candidate.
John grew up in Ljungby Sweden, before moving to the United States at the age of 19. Before his time at Master Planners & Associates he played collegiate hockey while attending Merrimack College and later professionally for the Norfolk Admirals, in the ECHL. Most recently John came from spending time with a firm in Charleston, SC.
In his free time, John enjoys spending time with his wife Erin and their dogs, Duck & Ollie. He also enjoys getting out on the golf course, and trying exciting new places to eat and travel.
